People finally woke up to the fact that he is *****. Sad day for the club when the move to Palace fell through.

Colace was a Davey signing and MR had already made it clear at the start of 2011 that his Barnsley career was over.

I never had a problem with MR. To be honest he was far more articulate than KH , but I like the football & the "sustainability" of the KH approach, so far... let it continue.
Just pointing out how soon a player of the season has become history (& rightly so).

When he won 'Player of the year' he was very good. He created and scored goals and got stuck in, when his transfer to Swansea fell through at the last minute he never recaptured that form and his last season was terrible but to put him in the same bracket as Arismendi is ridiculous.

Played for Argentine U20s. Messi also played for Argentina U20s. Ergo, Colace is on par with Messi.

Last I knew he was living in Pogmoor, and working for the sports development team for BMBC. Not seen him around for years though.

He had one good season for us, and that was in a season where there weren't many stand out players. No surprise that he has struggled since. Didn't Hemsy say he would player at a higher level than us?

    H/T was right!!!

Guadalajara is far higher than Barnsley. Altitude of Guadalajara is 1,566 m (5,138 ft) against Barnsley altitude 92 M - (301 ft)

Re: John Peachey's playing in Guadalajara?

Did you know he couldn't kick with either his left foot or his right foot, but that was ok, cos he scored with his head. so as long as he could run around a bit it's ok.
