Well at the end of last season we finished 11th on 62 points. So already we have surpassed that pointswise, and I think we will finish in the top 8 at the very least, and we have had a trip to Wembley lifting a very handsome trophy... so no complaints from me for this season.
Well, even in those dark days of winter I never thought there was any remote possibility of us going down. We were losing games, yes. We seemed to have no direction, no idea how to climb out of it. But I knew, at some point, that we would. So many of those defeats were stupid, unnecessary defeats. We were never on the end of a hammering so it was just a matter of time before we got it right.
I just hope we can keep a decent chunk of this squad for next season, its gelling very nicely. I fear that it may be dismantled for whatever reason at the end of the season, then its a re-build all over again.
Re: I just hope we can keep a decent chunk of this squad 69 points would have got us a play off spot last season.
Re: I just hope we can keep a decent chunk of this squad The Most amazing thing about that table is the 27 point swing with Coventry
Re: I just hope we can keep a decent chunk of this squad whatever happens we can be immensely proud of the players efforts to take us from 24th to (hopefully) 6th. No thanks to "LJ"
I think it will go down to the final game making the wigan game our most important game scince Huddersfield away in the flicker great escape.
It's amazing what has happened - up there wih the Flicker season for a remarkable season (although slightly less emotional than that one!) Hope Hammill, Hourihane, Winnall etc aren't poached from us now! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It won,t go down to the final game if we beat Sheffield Utd tomorrow another 3 against Colchester and that's it.
