does your sky still work mate..

the LNB, as far as I know, is the liitle reciever bit that the dish bounces your sky into in order for your Sky tv to work,...... has it maybe fallen off or maybe a neighbours

It's the bit on the end of a Satellite dish.

    That explains it

    Did you have Sky before?

If so they fit a new LNB onto your existing dish, that'll be the old one

Yeah we did. Cheers for that, thought I was gonna' get bombed or something seens how there was a van parked outside too.

    :D

While we're talking about sky.. I was going to have the old box upstairs and pay the extra ten pound a month, but then I thought about getting a new sky plus box for my bedroom. How much a month is another sky plus box and how much is it to buy/install?

    TIA.

Don't know about how much to buy/install

But it'll still be just an extra tenner fo the multiroom.

HD is about 15/20 a month so I thought sky plus might be a bit more too.

So, rather than buying multiroom you could just run another cable

to the old sky box for nowt?

Sky+ isn't any extra if you have either Sports or Movies, and they are getting rid of that restriction as well.
