    My son has just been to Post office at Athersley
    to post summat to me
    and nearly got shot
    he thought at first it were kids laiking abaht

    does the old north/south divide still exist in Athersely? I came from the south end( well smithies really) and nearly got jumped on a few times!</p>

    Just been told by my uncle about it he was at fruit and veg stall at side.Securitas van supposingly there.

    my son said took police 15 mins to arrive
    tell you what
    he is all shook up
    and after being on the wrong end of an armed robbery my self
    i know excactly how he
    and the old lady they knocked over

    hope they catch them sooner than they caught my hold up men 8 months
