Just reading the match report from official site. The only mention he gets is when hes replaced by Mattis.

He was pretty anonymous at both Morecambe and Rovrum as well.

Surely he should be roasting division two fullbacks?

I just hope he's holding back for the start of "proper football" next week. If no, oh ****!!

I think he is the next man out of the WELL

Some talk about him going a few weeks ago
So that may have unsettled him
Against Rotherham and as a sub against Wigan he did next to nothing
Maybe he is getting ready to move
This may explain why SD is looking to bring another winger in ASAP

Im not judging him. Hes one of my favourite players when he turns it on but hes just not been himself in the friendlies.

About this "not trying in friendlies" malarky. Why would a player not want to show why he should be first choice when the season starts?

Garbage. Devaney has been a vital part of our team for the last two season's. I seem to remember he was statistically one of the highest rated in the Championship last season according to opta.

Flatters to deiceive and he looks like he has done just that to a few , think back to Cardiff we won that with ten men because he did naff all , would not even take penalty , went missing again when the going got tough , one decent game and a wonder goal at Plymouth does not constitue a good season. What him this season when he tracks back huffing and puffing, never really tries to win the ball back. 50-50 balls scared s tless

    Struggles.......

to beat the first man on crosses and doesn't score enough for such an attack minded player. Hoping for vast improvement this season.

This is my first season as a ST, does that mean I'm not a proper fan with a valid opinion? :D
