Think Eckersley had a nightmare today - looked scared to pass the ball when he had it as he knew he was going to lose it or get flak. Think the experienced defenders should be brought bak, what's up wi Hecky and Austin at full back, Hassell and Kay or Reidin the middle? Also thought Tonge played well at left back and even Robbie Williams can be considered to be a steady left back - better than a midfielder! Can't understand why our experienced players are being dumped for lower leaguers who aren't as good? Think Richards, Ferenczi and Pete should play as an upfront 3, try 3 at the back and have midfield of Togwell, Hayes, Howard and Devaney. Time for Lucas?

    At the minute

It seems that the manager (and some people in the ground) feel that the new signings are automatically better than what we have got.

On the evidence so far, I don't agree. The manger has a stubborn streak (just like Mr Hart did) and he needs to wake up and bring back the old guard (in their PROPER positions).

Mr Davey also made a suicidal substitution (taking Richards off) when we were defending. Not that it matters now, but Cureton hit the bar from that. Isn't that management basics?
