I read that we had given him a contract

read it in one of those sections in the back of football magazines where they have a little bit of information on every club, was wondering myself why he was never assigned a squad number.

yes you are - Frankie Simek

tried looking on soccerbase and Peter Simek is listed as a midfielder from Hungary who has never played in any competition anywhere - the internet soccer database indeed :pff

however, found out Frankie Simek is an American currently playing for Washday having signed on a free from Bournemouth in 2005, he even played v. Coventry

Frankie Simek is favourite for their player of the year award.
