Football, football, football - that's all we seem to get at the moment. Anyone know of a good reason why I can't just use my old underlay as a base for laminate flooring instead of forking out a tenner on that thin bubble wrap stuff they sell?
RE: typical tight arsed fookin d,ingle, Sorry - guess your advice is to go out and nick a couple of rolls.
Think normal underlay is too soft and squidgy mate. The laminate is brittle and if the floor is not flat and solid underneath it will break on the snap-together joints. And if it does, it'll be Ritchies fault for not buying a centre half.
RE: Thanks for that use proper gear ..it ain't easy to do believe me ..but well rewarding ..take your time as well if you rush a bit it'll turn out **** ..good look on it ..me i done enough of that i'll stick to plastering ..(blaze) ..easy;..
