Mr Cryne now backing Keith? Has the takeover completed? Be good to get some info from the club at some point.

Either way, looks like there's been a shift in strategy from Ar Keith.

    Recruitment recruitment recruitment.

Maybe - unlikely though considering he's now saying he can afford 'championship quality'. I doubt he's been sat on that type of cash for the laugh.

The 'Throw enough **** at a wall and some will stick' school of management. It's not at all uncommon, look at the big clubs. Just with us it's more obvious because we're a relative pauper.

I will expect a 'like' from you for that, Mark.

Okay, Keith Hill's most successfully adhesive turds? I vote Craig Davies, even if he was already popping his head out, so to speak.

Gets him a bucket load of sympathy and lowers the expectations of all the fans even more, so that just finishing 1 place above the relegation places is seen as a great big success!
I dont think for one minute there is lots of cash there, but I also dont think the money has just appeared this week either.

The goal scoring striker that all the crowd could see last season, yet was played out on the wing, now brought into the middle and suddenly the manager is getting praise for bringing the best out him ?????

Dunno, there was an interview with Don the other week where he said they'd made extra cash available to bring the right type of player in so that would make you think it was extra.

Maybe so, but that was from Don Rowing and he did not say WHEN that money was made available, plus Hill has moaned for several weeks since that !!!

    My uneducated guess:

The Cryne family have decided not to sell, have freed up funds which couldn't/wouldn't be used whilst things were up in the air.

I would also hope that other funding is being/has been sought.

That's the route I'd have gone down. Mr Cryne isn't daft - you don't get the money he has being an idiot. Might've realised that without an injection of funds to get fowk back on side he was fighting a losing battle and so was Keef.

Or Keef has actually been saving all these pennies for 18 months just so he can get away with finishing 4th bottom.
