    Seriously of all the sites on the internet that some little ming-mong could hack I wouldn't have thought a Barnsley FC forum would even be on a list but I know absolutely nothing about hacking so I'm sure there will be a explanation.

    It's not the site, it's the software 'Vbulletin' (version) that looks like it has vulnerabilities.

    i recon its someone on the site whose done it, because the other vulletin sites i checked were fine, plus it wasnt as though it was someone who posted anything offenisve on it, just put a bit about the history of the club (the wikipedia page).

    I don't know much about hacking but I reckon with a lot of them it's simply showing that they can do it, not necessarily to make any gains. More inconvenience for the site owner than anything else.

    Just seems weird that they'd choose to do it to this site so it probably is someone who comes on here.
