He hasn't played for Rotherham since October. Last I heard neither Rotherham nor Barnsley were paying him. I'm not saying that's right, just what I heard. I believe Rotherham claimed he was injured when they took him on loan. I can't understand that argument as Conlon played 3 games for them and scored a goal. I have every sympathy with Barnsley's position: why should we pay the wages of a player that has signed for someone else just because he got injured while he was there? For me, the responsibility is Rotherham's.

I also heard neither club is treating him for his injury. Again, I'm not saying that is right, just what I heard. As above, I believe it is Rotherham's responsibility to treat him, but if they are refusing then I don't think we should allow him to rot. Barnsley may believe they have no legal obligation to provide such treatment, but surely they have a moral obligation? Come January and he'll be our player again.

All the above could be absolute ballacks. Anyone got the FACTS?

    If hes getting no wage...

then I do feel sorry for him. He doesn't deserve that.

He's got a good first touch, stop talking *****. If fans like you weren't so against him he'd be a half decent player. He showed in patches last season what he's capable of.

not getting paid would be illegal

as he's under contract, whether to us, or on loan at Rovrum. If they've sent him back cos he's injured, whilst at the same time we have a contract saying he's their player till Feb (or whenever), well....if neither club is paying him, all he has to do is contact the PFA and/or lge, who'll sort it out. The PFA would pay him if need be, till an agreement is sorted.

remember, this is the same lge who insist on all football debts (ie, players wages) to be paid before laundry contracts, etc.

As much as I like BBB (great 1st touch, best passer of a ball we have) I don't think we need feel sorry for him just yet. He's covered.

Maybe we should take a look at your footballing skills, before you find it fit to slate those of a professional.

he has scored 1 goal in 13 games

Some keepers could bost a better scoring record than that

Prove it then. Show me the scoring record of a goalkeeper who has scored 1 goal in their last 13 matches.

    Well said Full Ponty

Mcphail is the best passer of a football in this division. Conlon is a bloody striker who cares if he is a good passer. He cant even pass it into the net.

I have honestly seen giant antelopes that are better footballers than Conlon.
