Do the lad a favour Mr Davey, bury him in the reserves for the rest of the season. IF he plays on Tuesday and we get beat he'll be crucified.

3 points are far more importantthan trying to prove a point.

    Championship survival, but ...

Dwayne Mattis isn't the reason we'll be relegated. Football is a team game and all of our players have to be held accountable for the abysmal performances lately, so please let's stop victimising the lad and making him the scape goat for everything wrong at the club at the moment.

Am not, just saying it like it is, I actually feel sorry for the kid, Davey should know better than to throw him in at the deep end like this! he's to blame for playing him!

    I'm not blaming him

I'm blaming the manager for picking him.

We need 11 players firing on all cylinders. It can't help the other 10 if theyknow they've got to carry one each week.

I think that he was out of his depth in his first game, which was to be expected considering the step up two divisions, but I really didn't think that he was that bad against Colchester, certainly no more so than any of the other 10 players. It just feels as though people are looking to blame him every week before a ball has even being kicked, purely on the basis that he was signed from a Leage 2 club. I feel ashamed by some of the comments that certain Reds' 'fans' are coming out with.
