I'm in Oxspring and it's very heavy now. We only had an inch or two on the ground overnight, but it's starting to pile up now. I'll be very surprised if the match goes ahead.
There were two flakes in MK this morning and people were looking nervous. Home this evening, expecting to find tickets in post - hope it goes ahead as I'll struggle to get to a re-arranged evening match.
Very heavy in Bircotes and my dwarf fir trees are in trouble again. The last lot at Christmas was so heavy that the branches got separated and they are all out of shape now. If this keeps up all day they might be flattened. Annoying. Oh, is there football on this weekend?
I can't get my blooming dogs back inside, as they love the flipping stuff! Thankfully, it seems to be starting to disappear (cue another heavy snowfall now!).
Heavy now in Stockport - a couple of inches fallen in the last hour or so and falling heavily at the moment.
My kids were both quite dischuffed this morning when they heard that every local school is closed apart from theirs. We went down to Cawthorne last night for a meal and it kept trying to snow but wasn't settling, but when we drove back home we got to the hill at Hoylandswaine and it was like we'd entered Narnia. We were all over the place trying to get up the hill and we just made it in one piece, but there were a few cars stuck that hadn't.
Completely clear in Leeds, Bradford is pretty bad. It took me over 3 hours to get to work this morning because of traffic trying to get into Bradford down the bypass and then I'd been there less than an hour when they decided we were shutting so I'm home again now.
