What's the best thing for treating midge bites?

    it's a bit like Calamine lotion, available from Chemists.

    might sound odd

    but someone once told me to rub juice from an apple onto midge bites..

    dunno if it works though.:S

    Neat TCP liquid, on some cotton wool. Hold the swab on the bite for a couple of minutes.

    Excellent stuff.
