    He'll play that's a racing cert.
Who knows what Cardiff's team will be?
Dave Jones is a canny Manager who will know full well how we play with the attacking wing backs, no doubt Ridsdale has told him and I'm pretty sure that someone from Cardiff will have been at the game on Tuesday night watching us play.
It's a pity that Ritchie kept announcing that the Team that started on Tuesday will be the one that starts on Saturday - easy then for the opposition to figure us out.
These things are better kept private I think.

You may be right with the wing backs as Gilbert is absolutely lightening quick and that will surely be utilised. Got him on season-long loan from Arsenal and their fans reckon he could be the next best thing, saying he's already as good as Ebou (sp). Briefly kept Lauren out of the side last year as well, apparently. Set up Henry's headed goal in cup semi v Wigan when he left full back for dead.

By the looks of it we will also be using two wingers, Willo Flood and Joe Ledley. Those two could quite easily be replaced by Kevin Cooper and Paul Parry though. Chris Kamaras son Marvin has also signed and could figure. Again, pace to burn.

Hope your full backs have had plenty of sleep, lol.

Chris Barker's got no chance of playing imo. Played for the stiffs at Chippenham on Tuesday night.

he would be a good addition to the squad i reckon, and can play centre back as well so he would be good cover for us.</p>

    Chris Kamara's son Marvin?

Now I could be wrong here but I'm 99% certain you've got that wrong as I used to play football with one of Chris Kamara's sons, called Ben, and he had a younger brother called Jack I think, didn't think Marvin was any relation

He must have been a happy, busy bloke then because he's got another one!

We signed him from MK Dons 2 weeks ago.

Oh right, I dont think I will have played against you then (apart from maybe in a gala)

I played for Alverthorpe from about 1996 to 1999 and then Wakey City after that. I think I may have played against one of Kamara's lads once.

RE: He's never had any to lose.

Probably the slowest player in our side. No, make that definately.

Got caught out a few times last year, particularly against Arsenal. No shame there but Dave Jones is a hard taskmaster and is not one to forget individual errors.

Season before, Barker was our Player Of The Year - after starting the season on loan at Stoke! Came back leaner and fitter and went on to perform consistently well. Think it came as a shock to him to be loaned out.

But pace? If you think Chris Barker was EVER pacey, you may be in for a shock this season.

    You from Wakefield then?

I played for Alverthorpe, for about 2 months, also played for Netherton and Thornes Juniors.

Thinking about it, your names not Chris Tunny is it?

Hold my hand up then I must be wrong, but 9 years ago Chris Kamara only had two sons, eldest would be 23 now, youngest would be about around 16, how olds this Marvin?

Well, I went to school in Wakey but lived in Barnsley.

Who did you know at Alverthorpe? I don't remember your name. I'm sure I must have played against you though if you were at Thornes as well.

No, I'm not Chris Tunny. I'm 'Heppy'.

Slap my wrists, his name's Malvin not Marvin.

Born on 17/11/83 according to our official site, making him 23. Strange.

Born same year as me, but Kammy's son was called Ben not Malvin, oh well, hardly vital information is it? Probably Chris Kamara's lovechild or something!

Sounds like you were a year above or below me, don't recognise any names.
I do remember a Heppy at Ossett though...not me by the way.

I played with Mally, Shaun Ashton, Mark Crookes, Rob Wilson, Fletch and the rest.
