I'm working mine out but its nothing ti shout out about due to work. Just wondered what everyone else had achieved? I'm sure there has to be some real hardcore fans thats done the full season (nodding2fingers)
Yeah realised that after I posted Wonder what the longest run was and how many matches it went on for?
Me and my dad did 2 years in a row - league and cup Bearing in mind we live in Northamponshire, every game was a fair distance. For the record it happened to be the promotion and prem season, with the former being my first 'real' season as fan - lucky me eh? I'm sure the 2 years would've been extended had it not been for my Dads ill health.
Din't miss a match ( including Friendlies) between 1973 and 1976, can't remember exact dates and matches, without going through all my Programmes and fixture lists.
Always remember, I spent my 21st birthday in Torquay, on a damp, cold November night in 1975, watching the Reds, I went by train and four others went by car, that was the total sum of the 'away' support.
Then, I got married ......

We haven't missed a game for the last 3 seasons and so far have made all this season. We do live in the Midlands which makes some of the away games easier but it is a 4 hour round trip to Oakwell. Boy do we like that M1!
Been to every home game since 1985 in league, league cup, fa cup, anglo italian cup, went to every away game in promotion season to prem and every home and away game in prem, cost me thousands watching the reds. Went to Isle of man in 1993 as well
football was poor so we got legless for 8 days, remember lee butler rugby tackling a dustbin down the main street in Douglas right laugh ff
Quality. Just read an account of the trip in an old issue of South Riding. That says pretty much the same!!
RE: Me and my dad did 2 years in a row - league and cup That's pretty much all of my run too. I went to the last 2 games of the 95-96 season & then every home & away game in the promotion season & Premiership season, followed by the first 4 of the season back in the old Division 1 or even older Division 2! First game was well before you though. Wigan Athletic 21/10/78.
