Yeovil Junction, which is 2 miles from the town centre. There is a shuttle bus to the bus station. The ground is a further 2 to 3 miles out of town, so it is either a bus or taxi. I think the bus to the ground leaves the bus station at ten to two.

You should still get that train. Buses leave the ground back to town at ten past 5. London Tykes are catching the 18.20 train back to Waterloo, via Salisbury.

Yeovil has two railway stations, Yeovil Junction is 2-3 miles out of town and Pen Mill junction about a mile from the town centre. Both are on the opposite side of town to the ground. From both stations it is advised to get a taxi to the stadium or alternatively if you arrive at Yeovil Junction, then you can catch the ?Hopper? minibus to the bus station in the town centre. On Saturday matchdays there is one shuttle bus that runs from the station to the ground which leaves the bus station at around 1.50pm (returning from Huish Park at 17:05). Otherwise there is the First Traveller Bus Service No:1 that leaves from the town centre (stop outside Lloyds TSB in the High Street) and drops you at the Abbey Manor Housing Estate, which is near to the stadium. For timetables see the First Traveller website.

The Arrow is in the housing estate just down the road from the ground. Yep, the 2nd half is just as dull

Looks like Taxi action if I go to the game.

Works Xmas night out on the Friday night, and it looks like an early start on the Saturday.

We shall see , is there a pub where people are meeting before the game , or is it a straight to the ground trip??

Ahhhhh.... I could get that train from Clapham Junction...

would make the journey more fun if there is some pre-match banter.

Would mean getting the 6.03 out of Piccadilly to Watford Junction though.

Yeh, in the Arrow. Did you come down for the premiership pre-season friendly we had? If so, its the same pub as the supporters that travelled by coach were in

There will be about 7 or 8 London Tykes getting on the train at Waterloo, plus 4 of us getting on at Salisbury. I will have a hang over as iam out on a Christmas do on Friday, starting at lunchtime. I am also out the night before (birthday). At least i can have a bit of a lie in on Saturday. You could sleep on the train to Watford, and start drinking again when you meet the London Tykes.

Have you tried going Yeovil to Taunton and then Taunton to Manc?
