Only about the early 80's for me and about 25 full seasons since then, excluding away games. Anyone got any pre-war ones?

I've got some from the 70s

My dad had loads going back to the 50s and 60s but when he died in 2004, my mum binned them.

Got some pre 2nd world war a fair few from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Got every home programme since 1978 when Allan Clarke took over, also got aways from same periods. Worth naff all but it's a good collection. I've just got rid of all my other programmes to an Auctioneer they go to Auction next week

A Sheffield dealer recommended that I do the same with mine. He mentioned Wilbys as being a good one. I would be interested to hear how you get on with your sale. I've just finished listing all my home ones. Earliest is the Bolton friendly which was to celebrate the installation of floodlights at Oakwell

Don't recall BFC being in that!

I was clearing out in readyness for a house move and dumped a few.
Just keeping odd ones like the first one I have that is from 1977.
I;ve only ever bought them occasionally. Used to always get for first and last home games so I had fixture list and results. Then just certain matches so a few away ones from Premier League season.

Also programme for the last match played by Bradford Park Avenue - in the attic - can't be arsed going up to check the date!

Don't seem to be as many people buying programmes these days tho'

Elm Park 1962. A Programme smaller than A3? With a mere 8 pages.

I wouldn't expect to make much for them. Would just be nice to know that my collection was somewhere appreciated. I've been lugging them around for decades and it's time they had a new home!

I've been looking for an original, there's a few reprints on eBay. I think the club may have one, Cryne bought the ball and a few medals at auction including Bartrops for £14,000.

Re: I've got some from the 70s

The old ones are starting to pick up a bit in price but mass production hasn't helped with ones since the war. There's quite a few obscure ones on eBay going for silly money. I have the 85 cup programme signed by the Liverpool team, that may be worth a bit more than the others in years to come, unfortunately l was missing an autograph so l did it myself..... They may not recognise an 8 year olds writing.

LOL. I once sold Kevin Keegan's autograph (traced from Shoot! magazine) for 50p.

I got a fearful kicking the next day when my scam was uncovered.

Used to be an avid programme collector as a kid.
Nearly all are stashed away in the attic in black plastic bags. some under the bed.

Eariiest Barnsley home game is 1967 or 68.
    Gillingham

I still have the one from the first game I went to Exeter City at home. First game of the 73/74 season.

I have got Palace away from 1961 I think it is. Its about 3" square.

I sold some non barnsley ones on ebay as a bundle. I think after postage which I underestimated i think I either broke even or made a small loss.
