Lets be honest, if or should i say when the guy gets the boot, i am not holding my breath for a good appointment imho. Given Crynes track record with managers it wouldn't surpirse me at all if he gave the job to Ryan Kidd :'( Why is our once proud club been run by a collection of morons? Don Rowing a director when he ought to have had the sack for the ticketing fiasco last year, WTF?? /poo All the best Brian and good luck at the Blunts, at least in Kevin Blackwell you will be playing for a proper manager and not an idiot with the communication skills of a chimp!!
That was harsh on Cryne. Who will always be seen as sviour come hell or high water. He is our saviour. Fact.
As for pointers as to why Davey should go, .................... bah, I'm not sitting and typing you a list for aif an hour.
The mans a buffoon. End of.
(clown)

RE: Progress nt Yeah i totally agree but there is no way that Cryne will get a decent manager in, i mean they will actually want money for a wage to start with lol and Cryne won't pay for a top manager. I think that we have some very talented individuals in our side at the moment it just needs the right manager to make them play as a team but good managers cost money, something that our great leader seems unwilling to provide. If we lose tomorrow then Davey has to go, just don't expect a big appointment!
RE: That was harsh on Cryne. Okay i see where you are coming from mate, it doesn't get away from the fact that Cryne is not a football man, his appointment of Davey in the first place shows this. We shall be eternally grateful for him for saving us in our hour of need and no one can doubt his loyalty and support to Barnsley FC, but sadly the guy lacks knowldege of how the football buisness really operates in this day and age and this has been demonstrated buy several inept footballing decisions taken during his involvement with the club imho. The Chairman situation needs sorting and quick, maybe he should look for a chairman well educated and experienced in the football world, someone like Niall Quinn at Sunderland maybe??
Quinn is literally Sunderlands version of PC. Turned up with the cash at the right time.
What we need is a well-versed footballing Chief Exec. Someone with contacts, someone who knows how transfers work, someone who can be a buffer between the fans (lifeblood) and the club. Kenyon type person, or a David Dein type.

RE: Quinn is literally Really?? I work with two Sunderland fans and they seem to think that he is the footballing front man that i have just described and that he is backed by a load of irish millionaires and he was also instrumental in getting Roy Keane to Sunderland! Nevertheless, we need someone like him down at the well before its too late!
RE: John Ryan is good at that nt nt John Ryan despite coming across as been a bit of a tit sometimes, has worked miracles for Donny Rovers, he has literally rebuilt that club from the ground up with his bare hands, they were in a much worse state than what we were when he first rocked up there. Despite what you all may think of him, you can't knock him for his achievements whilst at Donny!
