They should enforce them properly then they would work fine. The Window should also apply to managerial changes also.
RE: They should enforce them properly I can't believe they haven't been tested in the European courts - it seems to me they're a breach of the trading laws, the employment laws <span style="font-style: italic;">and </span>the human rights laws.
They are the rules of the game, I dont see how its a restrained of trade. They will complain about being cup-tied next.

RE: They are the rules of the game, There is that of course, because the EU just want to implement normal employment laws - they need a good slap! As long as at the same time clubs can give a player a months notice though for underperfoming and sack them thats fine!
