    so we get less than 5% attending...disgraceful

    and when you consider some come from places quite away from the Tarn then that means we get less ...way less than 5% the folk of Barnsley should be ashamed

    Watched the rugby union final in Wake

    ...with the Gally and laddo other weekend.</p>

    Loads of Rugby league fans behind us- your normalwell dressed,hair straightend northern lad.</p>

    All the way through they were saying how poor union was comparedto league- apparently &quot;...even a paki could play union&quot;. Followed by several racist jokes for good measure. All the way through the game in fact.</p>

    Not one of em had an idea what they were doing wrong, all thought it highly hilarious.</p>

    well I still think we should get at least 10k home fans

    I would like to see the prices drop on the gates/st's so more would find it affordable.....more fans lift the team and therefore performances..performaces get results...results get success....FFS if I can see that why the hell cannot GS

    Too risky cutting prices might not have the desired effect! Can't knock Gord for bringing about financial stability. I would love cut prices though as Im sure we all would, at the moment its a hefty charge for me.

    because the links are not so clear cut

    gate prices have been dropped in the past and there has been no great increase in attendance, and although the crowd can lift a team, to claim a definite link between fans and better performances would be almost impossible.
