Went Boxing Day and it was bang on. Definitely worth it it say. All round experience is brilliant. Wish i could afford to do it for a season!!!! Made a brilliant treat as a one off though!
There's 2 ways of doing it. There's a full 3 course meal which needs to be booked in advance and is a set menu with only a couple of choices. Good quality but it depends what's on the menu as whether you will fancy it or not. The other (cheaper) way is just to turn up a bit earlier and order a pre-match bar meal. Similar to pub bar meals and decent value at about £7. Choice between fish, pie, burger or lasagne all with chips. Either way you still get the normal Legends experience, free half time refreshments, free programme, free car parking etc, Barry Murphy's after match summing up and man of the match presentation and interviews. And of course access to the bar although it's not cheap.
Ring Rachel at club mate. Very pleasant and she will talk you through all ya options. Think legends its alot cheaper though.... Do you mean like sponsoring match or summat?? I sponsored programme a few year ago and it was about 1800 quid for ten people to go i think. Very similar to Legends apart from you get ya own box - Pick man of match - Bit of Blurb in programme and ya own box.......
Can you simply just turn up on the day then and get a pre match meal and use bar?? Anyone? Or do you have to pre book?? We thoughtthis while we were there Boxing Day. Cos the seemed to be quite afew who turned up - Had a bar meal - Went outside for game (Or certainly somewhere else - I know one lad who was with all his family who has his own box now but was in legends having a meal before game....) then came back in after wards and at half time..... Surely you cant just wonder in and out to your season ticket seat......
No not sponsoring anything, ive rang the club and got the prices for everything. Just didn't fancy taking the plunge with the legends and the food not been upto much.
