Last season it was just to stay in the Championship.........Keef often mentioned this in his interviews. But........ has the directors altered the remit for next season? If so; to what?..........If not; why not?
Judging by the noises coming out of oak well from thr manager, and the inept running of the club by the so called directors, then we seem to be striving for league 1 football.
i dont mind us coming 20th if we battle for every point what i am fed up with is the negativity streaming out of the club. the 1st 10 games of next season are make or break for the club, if we are rooted to the bottom then Hill and the board will be in for a rough ride
My remit for next season for the club is same as any other season.. Play with a positive attitude , battle in every game and play with a big heart irrespective of who the opponents are, or how much better there players are or are supposed to be. Never be in awe of the opposition. If they are the better team on the day and win then so be it, but never go down without a fight. Sadly my remit did not happen in too many games last season. I dearly hope lessons have been learned.
Re: My remit for next season for the club is same as any other season.. 1. Get Sydney to improve on his breast stroke leg kick 2. Buy a new weatherproof coat for the wet weather matches 3. Book in for some positivity coaching from Marvyn the Paranoid Android Oh sorry, you meant a football remit, don't be daft.
Re: My remit for next season for the club is same as any other season.. Improve on his communication skills and interview techniques whilst still keeping an eye on Jobsearch.
Minutes from last Board meeting ( Don Rowing to keith Hill) You're in the midst of a war: a battle between the limits of a crowd seeking the surrender of your dreams, and the power of your true vision to create and contribute. It is a fight between those who will tell you what you cannot do, and that part of you that knows / and has always known / that we are more than our environment; and that a dream, backed by an unrelenting will to attain it, is truly a reality with an imminent arrival. And no, we won't offer Luke Steele a contract extension until he's all but sorted a move elsewhere.
Re: Minutes from last Board meeting ( Don Rowing to keith Hill) to stop slagging the fans off, get on with his job and play some decent football !!! not too much to ask is it ?
Hopefully To repeat the results, performances and commitment seen in the first half of the season. The ones which took us into the top half of the table, whilst enjoying a style of football pleasing on the eye, and continue it into the second half. Although, after reading some comments, I'm beginning to think it was only a few people who witnessed it!!
You can't really ask for more than to stay in this division. We have the smallest budget, possibly the smallest fanbase, and seemingly no sort of investment on the horizon. The longer we stay in this division the better. Afterall we have a league 1 budget, and league 1 attendances, so whatever way you look at it, we're doing well just to be in this division.
