And who sings it? The one played at Millennium Stadium and at some point today at the England game. Cheers.
RE: What's the song called that goes 'Altogeter now...' I suspected that might be the title ff Cheers lad.
thats the one there's two versions though, one with ing-er-land additions to it that isn't as good as the original
What's the classical piece they sometimes play at Oakwell? I don't mean "Fanfare". It's normally before that.
Altogether now 'Altogether now' is based on a piece of classical music. It's just Pachelbel’s Canon with lyrics over the top. Nice guitar though.
Thanks, but there aren't any lyrics I'm familiar with the one by The Farm, but the one i'm thinking about is an instrumental. I think they played it at the Wembley playoff and we have used it occasionally since. To be honest, it's not really "classical", it sounds more like something from a film perhaps. The Godfather? TIA, Stephen
RE: Thanks, but there aren't any lyrics Come on Stephen, sing or at least hum it to give us a clue !!!
RE: Thanks, but there aren't any lyrics It's not the theme from Rocky that you are thinking of is it? starts with trumpets

RE: No, it starts very gently... I really liked the opera type music at the Millenium pre match when the flags were being 'ponced about' with any idea what it was ?
Dave
