What's up with Jennings?

I thought he'd be THE key man this season after impressing at times in the Championship, and was worried he'd leave.

But today he was so poor, was very disappointing. No pace, lack of effort (something which I thought he wasn't guilty of last season too often) and not involved enough.

Lack of confidence or something else?

 

Certainly no lack of effort...would have to disagree on that point.

 

He's overweight. It's a ******* joke if a footballer doesn't have the professionalism not to slap 2 stone on in the summer.

 

Yesterday was his worst game for us. I don't know if its a weight / fitness issue, an attitude problem, a lack of confidence or a bit of all. He certainly needs to improve very quickly.

 

All this was being levelled at him quite right rightly last season. 2 months at MK ironically sorted him out

 

Somewhere within him is ability but it's not on show very often.
Way too erratic for me.
If his performances continue to disappoint then I would offload him in January to the highest bidder.
That is assuming anyone would show interest!

 

He liked his time at MK Dons, maybe he didn't want to play well against them? He is quite immature!
