We've had our two keepers called up but have found a way to get them at millmoor then to their respective countries game.

Just coz his players haven't got same commitment to their club as our boys isn't our fault surely??

Stop whinging and get prepared to be rolled over Mick

One of the biggest dickheads in rock,he was caught walking normally one day and as soon as he saw the camera he started walking in that silly swagger,Oasis really do sound old fashioned now their music is so repetitive they did make some decent songs years ago but they havent had the guts to do anything different, yesterdays band for me.

Nah,for a start the voice is just the same you cant deny that, they are 2 of the first ever "Chavs",they have to swear on telly to make sure they keep in the limelight, its all old,the "angry young men" attitude was done by The Pistols over 25years ago.

    Thing is Yorktyke

I'm not sure how old you are but i assume you are older than me(26) what a lot of people don't realise is lads like me were 14/15 when Oasis first made it into mainstream. After all depressing American grunge that was about while we were in our early teens Oasis came along and gave the British kids on street a band to be proud of,to follow religiously & to hang on their every word.

Their impact changed a generation forever, the clothes you bought the shoes you wore, how you had your hair cut.Never experienced owt like it.For us it was our Beatles, our Dylan, our Jam and our Stone Roses.

When you are stressing over you're exams in 5th year and heared words of 'Whatever' & 'Live forever'coming out of the radio you realise nothing else matters and things will never be same again.

Maine Rd April 96 my first ever gig, truely a life changing experience.Still get goosebumps listening to it and watching it now.Being late down pub with your mates in summer coz you had to set cassette player going so you had Knebworth on tape.Having to go home and get changed coz you mates don't think bouncers will let you in your first visit to a nightclub coz you have come in Blue addidas tracky top, jeans and addidas campus!!!

Really for those that weren't in same boat they will never understand.

Its like when you started watching Barnsley, you are a fan for life, defend them to the hilt and never have a bad word said against them.

And then there was the music....well that spoke for its self

    Brilliant post

I'm not a great Oasis fan myself. I think they're a decent rock and roll band, but I'm a bit older than you so it was earlier bands that pushed my buttons. That was a great description of why we fall in love with certain bands though.

    Thanks

Just wanted to get that out so people understand why we still sell Stadiums and Arenas out 2-3 nights running every year 10 years on.

Its very easy to knock bands and individuals but they mean so much to a lot of people, especially likes of me that were swept away with it (H)

Probably why Dylan,McCartney and such like still can do it today.

    Have to admit...

I'm a BIG Oasis fan, but only being 18 I got into them much later than most people did. I see them as the greatest British band to grace music of my generation, maybe not ever though.

Eeveryone has their own opinions on music, and fair play to them, the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same music.

I've only been into them since I was maybe about 14

But I have so much of their stuff...I can listen to it over and over again and not get bored of it.

Do you have a ticket for any of their December dates in Glasgow?

    No mate

Saw em at City Of Manc in July, you know the one that was on telly when crash barrier broke after 1 minute!!!

Was gonna go and see em at that Cardiff gig in December but it clashes with a few things

    Have you seen em yet??

    I haven't

My mate has tickets for December so I may speak nicely to him!!

I'd love to see them love, it'd be an unforgettable experience.

I know the one you're talking about with the barrier breaking, saw it on C4 a while back.

I'm afraid they won't be touring for a good few years after this year

But when they are back on scene with a new album, keep your eyes on here. There is a load off this board that get tickets for em,if you're struggling someone will sort you out no danger

Tykes look after tykes after all

    Thanks for the tip

With a bit of luck I can get a ticket for December...a new bike and seeing Oasis live would make 2005 a magical year!!

And if it's vice versa for tickets where I have them in my possession and you're after one, I'll happily pass one on!
