We never win there anyway. You have to take that into account as well. Er, apparently.

On current performances, I'd rather lose 1-0 than lose by a couple, which could well have happened.

Are the results masking inadequecies within the squad?

Hate to say it , but I thought that a bit after Monday. Some good results, yet of late we look rather ****!

Still, apparently in some games earlier this season we looked awesome, so the ability must be there

whilst I can agree with you that a 1-0 defeat

gives you the same number of points as a 7-0 defeat, the effect on moral and the perception of our club is completely different. Wolves are genuine promotion contenders whereas we are not. If we get say 10 points from the remaining away games then we'll only need 17 from the remaining home games.... I'll take that and if we get to 50 points by mid march I'll be over the moon. Look at Palace, Preston and Cardiff... swap places ?

    Dave

PS is ityou that does picture frameing if so please could you pm me ? thanks !!!!

We aren't going to go through the season without having a bad bit of form.

Back in July, did you really expect us to go to Wolves and get anything?

My worry is that we started playing well last season , then once November kicked in we played well once or twice the rest of the season.

Were the players flattering to deceive again early season.

    The clue...

...was in what Howard said in The Star the other day.

We know that we can go down to Wolves now and hopefully have a game of football and express ourselves because we have nothing to lose because we're up there near the top."

I interpreted that as a 'we don't have to try as hard cos we've got some breathing space' attitude. Hungry players are never satisfied with what they've got. Ours seem to be after a couple of wins.
