    is it he doesn't trust british he's given rail contracts to germany and now he wants to wheel in a gun totin yank to sort our crime gangs out.

    He didn't give the contracts to the Germans, the rules of the tender that won the Germans the contract were set out by the previous government. The yanks have a fair bit of experience in dealing with racial tension, social deprivation and rioting (LA) so why not listen to this guys solutions?

    He was given the boot by the Yanks so why should we have him.

    This is England not the USA. The gang culture here is nothing like it is in the statesW we need people who understand our culture to sort the gangs out not a gun slinging yank.

    cotract can be overridden by government they just don't want to.this guys solutions as you put it changes with his socks(public opinion)

    I think he just feels like they may be about ten years ahead of us with the social problems they have and if he can learn anything from him that helps to stop this happening again then maybe it will be a worthwhile consultation.
