Sheffield has a wonderful... Erm... Way out? I'd recommend you speak to your local GP before visiting Sheffield. Make sure you get all your jabs needed before entering, THIS IS VITAL! Also remember sheffield folk have an extra arm, this is normal as they have a high sex drive for fellow family members. Visit hillsborough too! It's a must, it remains Europes largest piggery although at the other end of the city Brammall lane is also fighting away for that title. Remember to use very small words when speaking to the residents, oh and speak slowly! And of all else fails 'dee' and 'dar' are seen as a suitable answer to any question. The word 'massive' is used a lot, please try not to encourage it as it has become a huge noise pollution problem within the rest of Yorkshire.
Don't shack up wi a local lass...Have now been in Crime Central for close on 30 years...mass murderers are shown more leniency...
Yep, don't bother it's garbage. In top five cities in UK for size and easily worst. Light years behind other cities in terms of nightlife, city living, culture etc and full of dickheads I was away at weekend and a kid said to me "never been for a night out" I teld him he ain't missing owt
have a wander down to St Marys Gate and breathe in that third division air that blows down Bramall Lane.....I like it anyway!!
Depends what you're after. I'd say Sheffield is light years AHEAD of most cities for culture. Spot on for pubs and nightlife too.
The Crucible has had some good plays on over the years, Dominic West in My Fair Lady recently is one example. The wine bars there I'm not so fond of, more for the ladies I think, prefer Leeds for a night out.
RT? Really? Wow Have you been anywhere else? Places like Leeds and Newcastle piss on it till its eye sting
I've been all over, mate. Like I said - it just depends what you're after. If it's regular clubs/piss-ups/stag dos etc probably would be Newcastle and Leeds. Sheffield's a bit different, same with Manchester.
Think Newcastle has it all, culture, nightlife, real ale pubs, restaurants and not far from the coast.
