    Identity fraud

Why take someone else's money ... which is limited, and has a greater chance of being reported when they notice the money has gone and report it to the police ... it's more likely to get you caught

A much better alternative is to open loads of credit cards in their name and take tens of thousands ... which will only get spotted months after you don't pay the bills and they try to track you down, but can't find you so write it off as bad debt and give the named person a bad credit rating.

That's where the real money is in identity theft.
