not at all I have never booed him and have often posted on here when he has played well.

Boobster is not good enough to play in the championship but is a valuabe member of the squad as he can do a short term job in a number of positions

 

He aint good enuff for the Championship but you would play him in the Championship.

i agree bobby is mr barnsley in a world of money and greed this man plays for barnsley and has his heart on his sleave
but that doesnt make him good enough for this league as a player... sentiment isnt a option

as much as people may hate hill etc both him and flickers carnt both be wrong... and i agree id even go as far to say if he left barnsley the only place he would go is down a league...

BUT i suppose alot does have to be said for his commitment to the club and i feel he does alot behind closed doors and younger players proberbly look up to him
but it is time to move on .... even such as giggs has to warm the bench

what i dont get is the need for any player to be victimised... some player just dont fit the bill simple as doesnt make them terrible players

I'd agree with that. Should be kept around as long as possible.

The problem is that he needs paying. Can we afford to pay someone wages when he's going to play very rarely?

Bobby is still good enough though and even when his playing days are over I think he would have a lot to offer in a coaching role.

The player that gets the most grief on here, is Hassell. Usually from the same 3 people. Although 1 or 2 others have now joined in.

For the final time, may I just point out that in his appearances under Keith Hill I can't recall him costing us a game. Not once. Wheras, a couple of other defenders have done so, quite regularly. Yet still retained their place. That isn't Hill or Flicker seeing something we can't. That's them failing. Hence one of them getting the push. Be hopes Flicker has 'Wised' up, eh?


PS - The 'Booby' and 'Boobster' taunts are ****. If I had a vendetta against Bob I'd call him 'Hassellw@nk' or sumat.

 

We got the reason for the victimisation of Bobby in an interview with Flitcroft a few days ago, he was scarred by an experience when he took over the place of a fans favourite at another club and got booed for 6 months before leaving .

 

Yes, but he's had several new contracts in his time here. He's not going to be on anywhere near what he was at Mansfield. A lot of money to be paying a player who doesn't get much game time.

 

We wont be offering him the same terms though. I would imagine the next contract will be vastly reduced.
