    You could very easily blame the relevant football governing body. However, when it happens every single time to your club, while other clubs breeze through such red tape, you've got to question whether there is someone at your club rubbing administrative officials up the wrong way.

    I reckon the DVLA run the player clearance thing, either its them or

    the uk passport office lot.

    Maybe if we had done the deal a fortnight earlier he would be in the team now ? Davey just wants someone to blame.

    It's the Home Office advised by people from within football - FA, PFA etc.

    the cryne part is simply because he says he doesn't want to be here. If he doesn't want the job then he needs to find someone to replace him and step down, for his own good as much as the clubs.
