    SHEFFIELD UNITED.............as in..........

Enticing Brian Howard to leave Barnsley by offering him big money – result, unrest and unease in the dressing room

The Hume / Morgan incident – result, more unrest and troubles in the dressing room

Brian Howard saying JCR should leave and join them during the Christmas transfer window – result, more unrest in the dressing room

I'm not saying that Sheffield United are solely responsible for the position we now find ourselves in........BUT.......they've done their very very best to undermine Barnsley this season

Which begs the question - why is this ???
The only answer I can think of is that Blackwell has something against Barnsley because they didn't give him the managers job (when Ritchie left) when he applied for it
And Pat Cryne at the time said something on the lines of - there's only one person that we interviewed that was good enough to do the job
    Maybe that hurt Blackwell

    Talk about conspiracy theories!

You really think that they deliberately targeted Barnsley FC?!

    1. Howard - so a club wanted to sign a player that had a brilliant season the year before? No surprise - they signed plenty of others.
    2. Morgan elbowing - not just against us - they do it every game
    3. JCR - See 1.

    Can't believe it's a conspiracy - sorry

At the end of the day there is only one club that Sheffield United care about - and that is Sheffield United, and they couldn't give a **** about us. Yes we've had some bad dealings with them this year, and yes I think they're a horrible outfit, but we agreed to let Howard go to them when we did, the Morgan incident was unforgiveable, and we should be above any paper talk or rumours that is surrounding any of our ex-players. The fact is that Sheffield United would stitch any other club up - so we're not exceptional - it's our own fault for agreeing to do business with them (as such a low price too) for Howard.

takes an entire squad to get relegated, obviously the manager gets the blame as he picks the 11. but we missed some golden chances of late to break free which you cant blame davey, even hassell said we need a goalscorer

I think it's more a case of us being sh*t for most of the season.

Bugger all to do with anything else.

If or when we are relegated...........

.............I will be genuinely upset..................really really upset

Then as now I will relect on the season
There are a number of things I will consider

Davey setting out at the begining of the season with Mostto and Odejayi as two of his strike force

The long delay in getting replacement strikers

AND THEN..............losing Howard............AND THEN........Morgan nearly killing one of our players, that player being the only player we had at that time that looked liked scoring in a match
Both of these are linked to Sheffield United

Yes, we have had problems this season...........but it has to be said Sheffield United have made those problems worse
