The performance sounded absolutely dreadful, and the tactics seemed completely wrong and way too negative. In a season which hasn't been our best, and certainly not our worst, this is a poor week which we need to quickly learn from and put right next week against Forest. See what that was? A balanced opinion. Not "We've lost, so we're sh** and we're going down and it's time for a new manager and sort it out Don Rowing and Hill is too stubborn and THIS CLUB IS GOING NOWHERE and..." blah blah blah
I couldn't offer an explanation, I wasn't there. From listening, I would hazard a guess that our manager felt we would take a huge step towards safety by avoiding defeat, and therefore played for a point, which we didn't get (deservedly) and now we look rather foolish. Especially since he's indicated previously that he wasn't the sort of manager who goes away from home to nick a point. Don Rowing out, etc.
In Hill's defence, all eleven of them - I think he's got his eye on the longer term and is evaluating the new arrivals and 'blooding' them if you like. Seeing what fits where and what works. I might not be quite such a Hillflicker licker if I'd spent time and money going to watch that crap instead of staying in trying our lasses clothes on.
A Hillflickerlicker - I love it - plus the thought of us Hillflickerlickers cross dressing at the next match so we can identify ourselves might be a good idea
i'll wear my ascot ladies day hat with my pinafore and diamond brooch might as well make an occasion of it
Marlon - you never let me down!!!!!! ;0) For me I'm thinking red shoes, no knickers, with matching red evening gown, low slung back, peephole bra and bouffant blonde wig. Can I share your diamond brooch? (funny word "brooch" don't quite know how to pronounce it - mebbe we should ask Keith - he seems to know everything - according to us!!) x
might be a bit cold for no knickers better phone keith hill before we go see what weathers gonna do. you can borrow my brothers diamond brooch if you want and his ladies day ascot hat cos he's in jail at moment for saying that he thought keef was doing a decent job. hope nobody's reading this or our cover will be blown and its jail for us. by the way didn't jail used to be spelled gaol then got pronounced goal. no doubt our lord keef will know. can't wait to go shopping for new bag and shoes.
I'm still a fan of Keith Hill, Andy I still think he's a good manager. Today was poor, with regards to team selection and tactics of that there's no doubt. However, forgive me if I refuse to take part in trading insults with people who simply have a different opinion to my own. The more comments I hear and read from other Barnsley fans, the more I realise I have little in common with my fellow posters and supporters these days. As I'm not about to blow a gasket over today and complain to all and sundry, it's probably indicative that I should no longer be regarded as a real fan.
I'm here. I'm a real big fan of these 2. But a few things bug me. Today was just *****. Managers fault nobody else's.
Re: I'm still a fan of Keith Hill, Andy I agree with Kev. I'm not a real fan either and haven't been since 1974.
