    Ambition?

We were going to splash £100k on Windass, what happened to a plan B?

    RE: Ambition?

We were going to spend £100,000 on Windass; we have received a fee for Burns, plus saving on his high wages; we have (hopefully) extra money to come from the play-offs - SO WHY ARENT WE STRENGTHENING THE SQUAD FOR THE FINAL PUSH???

I think you'll find McParland is intended as Shuker's replacement-cos I think he'll go at the end of the season

    it's a pity...

we didn't flog him for some cash at the first transfer window-he was being scouted and has got worse since-perhaps he's already decided not to renew??

    The chairman said...

They have tried to bring in 3 players since Burns left but none of them had come off. Said they would back Ritchie if he could bring someone in.</p>

    Same reason why....

... when someone resigns at your workplace there's not a new geezer ready to start next day.

Bearing in mind our league position..

Richie may feel that we have the players alreadt to get the team promoted and feels that he would be better waiting to the close season to sign players for our push towards the premiership next season.

Now where did i leave that half full glass?
