If you happen to ask someone from either Cardiff or Swansea for directions or help please refrain from using terms such as "owt", "nowt", "darn" etc. And would it kill you to say the word "the" when it's required? Also it isn't recommended that you walk around with the kind of arrogance portrayed by one "Red_Tyke"

    RE: Chill out man

No just someone who has been up north before and been flustered by your lingo. Grammar means "nowt" up there. Am I typing that right by the way, "nowt"?

    'grammar means nowt'

It's not about grammar, It's about accents & dialects. What you see is what you get with us Barnsley folk.
