calm down, calm down. I was finding it amusing that he thought they had not considered a new guy yet. They will have had talks and an idea as to who is available for ages.

That's funny, because they only decided to get shut of him last night.

I doubt there'll be a straight replacement lined up right away.

Scott do you honestly believe that they only thought to get rid last night, REALLY?

sorry matey but I think they have considered getting rid of him since last season ended, but gave him last chance to see if he could crack it.The board would have,in my opinion, have set a timescale to see his performance, but obviously that has been accelerated by the total failing so far. Honestly Scott I can only believe he has been on borrowed time so far, now do not get so nasty when its just an opinion.

If they haven't already made tentative enquiries due to the tenuous nature of Davey's tenure then

that would be foolish to say the least !!! (lots of Ts in there eh ?:D )

It was not planned, that is obvious. The parting of the ways could well have been as much Davey's doing as Rowings, hence the mutual agreement. We are probably now on a direct route to relegation, due to the turmoil that will no doubt ensue. The vociforous anti-Davey fans will no doubt be crying at the end of the season. It was interesting to note that the 'demonstration' outside the West Stand was carried out by 50% who hadn't started shaving!!!!

    why was that interesting?

Is it only the opinion of people aged 42-44 that counts?

Not at all. But youth are impulsive, have no experience, but think they know it all.

well thats your opinion, but I still think they had milestones set for him

and he has come nowhere near them.Thats why I believe it was a pre-concieved event.Obviously if Simon had been seen to turn it around then they would not have had to do the deed. But I totally believe they had a plan to get rid if he failed in a certain timescale, that became obvious yesterday that he was failing. They therefore pulled the trigger. But they,IMHO, had their finger on the trigger from the start of the season. And Again I emphasise this is MY opinion, no need to agree, but please do not insult if it contradicts your opinion.

Sorry about my previous post but i totally disagree...

If he supposedly was on borrowed time then Cryne shouldn't have backed in the window by spending 600k on Gray, 400k for Hammill, 100k for Thompson and the Hallfredsson loan deal.

Cryne came out in the Summer and said something along the lines of 'he has to justify his job role and build a rapport with the fans', later on he then said he was 'a little hasty in his comment and he thought Simon was a good manager'. Their was no mention of sacking him after that.

Rowing came out and said last night that it wasn't pre-planned if he had lost the game, they must have realised he'd lost the fans and the players for them to call him into a meeting straight after the game.

no worries, I guess we will never really get to know the truth being mere fans. I do think we will see a new man sooner than we expect.
