also will Robbo decide to send any of the current squad out on loan? e.g. KO, El Haimour or any of the young guns Jamil Adam, Heslop, Sodje etc?

Priority has to be a left back, centre half and goalkeeper also required......

    Suggestions:

Left back - De Laet (Mau U), Centre Half - Darren Ward (Wolves), Goalkeeper???? to many to mention

I don't think we can afford to send too many out on loan

maybe a couple of the younger strikers. We need a goalkeeper and a Full back definatly, theres room for another Centre half too.

Has O'Neil Thompson got his clearance through yet? That may see us right at centre half short term but longer term I think the whole defence needs looking at.

Wouldn't mind seeing some of the young strikers head out on loan for a bit as they arent going to get a game ahead of the senior lads at the mo.

Blackwell on DeeDar this morning said he may bring someone in..... so window must be re-open already

Time to get to work Robbo, backup keeper, fullback and centre half all needed.

    Suggestions:

Keepers - Heaton (GK - Man U), Nash (Everton), Turner (Everton), Turnbull (Chelsea)
Fullbacks - Griffin (LB - Stoke), Dickinson (Stoke), De Leat (Man U), Hill (Wolves)
Centre Half's - Ward (Wolves), Gabbidon (West Ham), Cort (Stoke), Shittu (Bolton), O'Brien (Bolton)

    Any thoughts.........

Won't happen but would be nice to see new faces in tomorrow to make a difference. I take Nash, Griffin and O'Brien and em up as follows:

    Nash

    Foster, O'Brien, Thompson, Griffin

    Devaney, Anderson, Colace, Hallfredson

    Gray & Hume

I know many would pick JCR over Devaney. But as stated in my earlier thread I feel without Devaney in the side our strikers struggle for supply from the wings, JCR hasn't started season particularly well and doesn't get enough crosses in to danger areas. Devaney has been patient and deserves a chance to get back in the side, IMO we are at our best with him in the side............ New back four is just whats needed, with experience and presence. Solid goalkeeper, vastly experienced at this level and striker pairing who I feel will do well together................... It is only my opinion.

Can't see point of loaning El Haimour out tbh.

And I think we need the young 'uns to fill the bench. Get rid of KO though.
