Be interesting to see if he makes bids for the likes of wiseman, done, McNulty... Perkins?
    And would they leave.

Suppose it depends where he goes, hard to see anyone above us interested.

Perkins will be out of his reach financially now. Hill will be back in the bottom 2 leagues. He can have wiseman and mcnulty for gratis like.

Yep, the next boss needs to get Perkins tied to a new contract. Hill can have the dross he signed.

Perkins probably wants to finish his career with is so shouldn't be hard to tie him down to a 3-4 year contract

I wouldn't bank on Keith walking straight into another job. It's arguable that we would be relegation candidates no matter who was in charge here, but I think he will be viewed as 'difficult' by any prospective employer due to his decision making that railed against the majority of supporters. It would be handy if he did get back to Rochdale or somewhere soon so we could negotiate the handing back of their players without much fuss or expense. Perkins is coveted by half the Championship now - while all eyes are on Davies, Steele and Stones, it would not surprise me if a couple of clubs come poaching for himself and Jimbo. Both would be every useful in a playoff push.

Perkins is the only player worth keeping out of that lot, the others will go for nothing, Most likely

Just thought on there is also Dagnall and Kennedy that he brought in from Rochdale. He can have them as well. Collins? But I think he must have done something hill didn't like.

Perkins won't be in demand at all. He's a good player for us but I can't see anyone else wanting him

To be fair he did sign some decent players. Dawson has been excellent so far IMO.

On the whole I don't think his signings were too bad, especially when you put Vaz Te and Drinkwater into that equation as well.

Every manager we've had has signed some absolute garbage, Keith's problem is he never replaced Vaz Te (admittedly would have been difficult) and couldn't find another creative midfielder who could fill Butterfield's boots on a regular basis.

When you consider players that were signed in the few years before Hill there were some far worse players - El Haimor, Mosto etc. Although at least the then manager realised they were rubbish and didn't play 'em!

Totally agree. Have to be honest, I didn't rate him last season. He's been brilliant this season. One of our most consistant players IMO. Just need Mellis back in the team for some creativity now.
