    And yes you did get new clothes - usually a suit for boys. On Whit sunday you and all your mates had to wear them. Which was interesting playing footy on the park. One year me and my mates went birds nesting (sorry I know that's a crime now) and finished up wading through a stream. My dad gave me a right belting when I got home.
