When I was a lad

If the team were having bad times (and there's been far worse than these) there was always the battle cry of "we'll support you evermore".That's not me accepting the current plight but its about supporting your team through thick and thin.I'd be as gutted as the next fan if we were to get relegated but to enjoy the highs you've got to go through the lows.We've battled against some pretty big odds for the last 7/8 years and if we do suffer the ultimate its time as a club and supporters to shake our selves down and regroup.Anyway onwards and upwards for Tuesday night.

And in them days they deserved it. You can still see the likes of Les Lea and Barry Murphy at our home games, which speaks volumes about their passion and commitment. This lot earn salaries the old brigade could have only dreamed of and they go through the motions. Different gravy, old lad.

 

Don't agree we just go through the motions I just think there are teams who can afford better players than us.I do respect you opinion though.

Likewise, BMW. But when I see us play in such a brain dead way as Tuesday, when repeatedly lumping it up towards O'Grady and seeing our attacks break down, or COG wandering out to the wings while there's no-one in the middle, I think that's going through the motions.
