When is the Barnsley town centre/markets redevelopment due to start?

Last I heard it was Summer 2013 that the Metropolitan Centre was due to be demolished but walking past today, some of the closed down shops had 'To Let' signs on them.

Is this markets redevelopment ever going to happen? Thought we were seeing some action when the CEAG building was demolished but all gone quiet again...

 

Last August. Lack of budget delayed it apparently.

Dunno if its right, staff at HMV said it closed as it would have had to close in November anyway so no point renewing the lease.

And seems like 2015 is the completion year according to the site above.
