Does it matter? They haven’t got the cash to bring someone in that’s proven at this level.

Give him 10-12 games next season. Hands tied behind his back with the recruitment. Rather see someone higher up leave.

More chants towards Collins tonight. Whoever was getting personal dropping a C bomb should be kept away from games mind.

A month ago we'd taken 29 points from the previous 15 games. That's the point at which you'd have sacked him?

It's v sad but a reflection of modern day society Steve.
    Unnecessary dogs abuse. Nothing constructive.
As you suggest: "massive" elitist approach and attitude. Together with a complete disregard for the efforts people are making to develop the club.
    Embarrassing indeed.

I know your og post was a little tongue in cheek but its drawns some serious replys so here goes. Long term I'm unsure about Collins but he can only work with what he's got, what team would people who want him gone now have played with tonight. We have a group of player's some of whom aren't good enough and some that don't give a ****. I've said it before the summer there's going to be a clear out do we trust Collins with a rebuild I'm not sure but for me at this moment most of the blame lies elsewhere. The recruitment in the summer woeful most of them are out on loan at a lower level and now he has senior players chucking the towel in, fine boys you want to move on but roll your sleeves up and show some professional pride.

As I've said before. If Collins was on a season long loan (like Mccart) and a decision had to be taken in the coming weeks whether to try to sign him permanently or not who in their right mind would hand on heart say they would be calling for us to sign him after witnessing the performances they have under him?

I don't think even his biggest supporters would.

Isn’t the bigger problem that we’ve got no money?
I don’t rate him but we are facing problems next season

The longer you stay down, the harder it becomes to get back up because the quality players that were tied to contracts disappear and you don’t have the money to replace them.

And this time no saleable assets to plug the gap. This summer will make Conway's best one ever look like a triumph if we don't go up.

I would add to that, it then requires a quality manager to get more than the sum of the teams parts

    aka

    Duff
    Ismael.
    Steve Evans …

If we don’t get play offs I think we need to be having a serious think about whether bridges could be build with Duff and he could return.

Don’t think anyone can argue with that example TBF.
For balance though after the first season here if he was on loan would/should we have kept Mads(replace with many other players)based on his performances? The answer would have been no at that point.
