    It was embarrassing not only for himself for the club and town dont know what kick he got out of running on a pitch getting booed by 8 thousand people and getting locked up and a criminal record. Just hope these numptys stay away for the everton game.

    Can honestly say first time we have had one and I didnt hear anyone cheering think everyone sick of it now going to cost the club eventually if it carrys on

    I heard cheering when they caught him but I didnt notice him at first I was watching game from esu and just heard booing looked over towards ponty and some numpty wi no top on running to centre circle.
    just cant understand mentality of these people were playing burton albion and he decides to run on pitch for no reason wasnt even like we had scored after my little lad said to me daddy why did that mr run on pitch, just stupid hope he is banned for life

    I honestly thought the two security guys were going to have to get some help. They weren't exactly built for speed.

    Who was the guy who ran on anyway? Apart from being a world class bell-end obviously...

    There was a minimal Police presence in the corner. They didn't intervene, and I'm guessing that that was because they haven't been contracted to, and they are essentially on private property. But the stewards would need to have handed the village idiot over to them to be arrested, I am assuming, in order for him to be charged and (hopefully) made subject to a football banning order.

    Before he ran on it had occurred to me that there seemed a lower steward presence than normal - have we attempted to cut corners here? If so, it could cost us in the long run.

    Apparently it was a police free game. Which I thought meant there were no police there, that's why I asked if I had imagined the police
