Last time I can recall is Chelsea 0-6, though I'm sure with some of the ****e sides we've had in the last 15 years it must have happened since then, I just blocked it out of my mind. Remember 1-4 against Palace and Pompey when we went down in 2002, 0-4 against Preston under Spackmoid, 1-4 against Brizzle when we went into admin.
Re: When did we last concede 5 goals at home in one half? I'm guessing that was against Birmingham in Wilson's second season. They murdered us in the first half and we somehow went in 0-0. I remember thinking that we couldn't possibly be that bad in the second half. Wrong. And they missed a late pen I think, though I'd fecked off by then.
Was Donny in the paint pot, before that Chelsea, before that Birmingham, and before that Newcastle back in 1983.
And before that Donny again in 1965, before that Bristol City 1958, 4-7 now that was a game, before that Huddersfield 1956 and earlier in the same year Sheffield United, before that QPR in 1950.
Whoops missed Liverpool out and QPR was actually a win, here's the full list back to the war: FOOTBALL LEAGUE TROP Tu 18Oct 2005 Barnsley 2 - 5 Doncaster PREMIERSHIP Su 24Aug 1997 Barnsley 0 - 6 Chelsea FOOTBALL LEAGUE DIV 1 Sa 02Sep 1995 Barnsley 0 - 5 Birmingham ENGLISH DIV 2 (OLD) We 04May 1983 Barnsley 0 - 5 Newcastle ENGLISH DIVISION 4 Fr 29Oct 1965 Barnsley 1 - 5 Doncaster ENGLISH DIV 2 (OLD) We 27Aug 1958 Barnsley 4 - 7 Bristol C ENGLISH DIV 2 (OLD) Sa 01Sep 1956 Barnsley 1 - 6 Sheff Utd ENGLISH DIV 2 (OLD) Sa 10Nov 1956 Barnsley 0 - 5 Huddersfield ENGLISH DIV 2 (OLD) Sa 10Mar 1956 Barnsley 0 - 5 Liverpool
