I'm sure it wasn't that long back, but i just can't remember it. I remember the one in 1995(?) because Ladybower res was empty, and me and my Dad walked half way across it.
2006 moved into my current house and the well ran dry. Spent 7K on a borehole and its not stopped raining since
RE: seven thousand pounds on a hole? I think so. but how can you tell. 5K down to 50m and then an extra charge for every foot deeper. it went to 90m But how can you tell how deep the hole is? They certaily took a long time and produced a lot of mud. Why does it go into Imperial below 50m? Plus we are only 30m above sea level and 50m from the river!!!! Still the water has not run out since. funny that.
But do you know whats in it? I know the water in Bradford is purified over oven baked bones including pig bones. But I bet the locals dont know that!!!
A few years ago in a public debate about GM. I was talking to a guy from Yorkshire Water. He said don't worry about putting a few pig genes into crops, because all of Bradford's water is purified using pig bones. But they just dont tell the locals.
RE: A few years ago thats obviously a joke. I think even the non-muslims might be a bit disturbed by that!
