Six - nil up in the first half. Drew the second half 1-1. Missed loads of chances. Could've been ten.

    Anyone else feel the same?

(Sorry, not taking the piss, just watched that wonderful match again! lol)

They only managed one or two shots on goal all game...

I see your point and do remember thinking the second-half was a tiny bit of an anti-climax but disappointed is stretching it!

Higgy should've had a debut hatrick though!

Shaun McClare missed loads of chances - he could have had a hattrick no problem.

See what you mean about 'dissapointing' though lol

    Sean McClare...

Wonder what he's doing now? He was supposed to be a up and comer but turned out to be a bit lame!

Was so close to being a genuinely good player, just didn't get stuck in enough.

Often the case in games where a team has a big first half lead.

    Not really

I was so made up with the first half performance .Will always remember Barnard's goal. As someone above said it's usually the case when someone gets a big first half lead - like Liverpool on Saturday. They tend to take their foot off the pedal

Should have set a new club record that day

McClare missed 3 absolute sitters and the first half and Higgy missed a penalty in the 2nd. Should easily have beaten the 9 scored against Accrington Stanley or Darwin or some such Lancashire team.
