Can someone remember what the procedure was for the getting tickets?
All i remember is that i had to wait a few days due to working and not living in the area and then make a journey down on a Saturday costing in the region of £25 train fare just to buy two tickets from the box office.

Had the turnstiles been open all week before i got mine. Anyone remember ?
i do remember there wasnt much choice left seat wise when i got there despite being an ST holder.

I think I went on the 3rd or 4th day they were available to season ticket holders. Got there about 8:30 as turnstyles due to open at 9.....was front of queue for turnstyle I wanted.

Had to go to ticket office though for bus tickets - and a massive queue there as that was for card sales I think....I mentioned to someone in club shop that it didn't make sense to have to join that if only wanted the coach tickets and they opened up a seperate window solely for coach travel.

Tickets sold from turnstiles. Big problem then was that it wasn't clear which turnstile was selling which type of ticket. Added to that the seats were being sold on the basis of what was best for television (except for those in the "know" of course. So you couldn't buy better seats that were available until crappier seats were sold that were directly opposite the cameras (I know this sounds daft but it is true!). There was a guy in front of me with nearly £4000 in readies, a bag full of season tickets (vouchers not good enough) and a baseball bat!
