When we had an injury in the past!!!!

We were back at work in a week. Serious cases such as getting buried in 4 ton roof fall or bad knee injuries that were caused by kneeling for hours on end in water usually lasted 2 to 3 weeks.

Now our Footballers take between 6 and 12 months and have specialist treatment in the best medical clinics with numerous doctors, in attendance.

A quick 'plaster' or in severe cases an elasticated bandage in the Ambulance Room was all we got in those days.

Are our players 'molly coddled' (doh) (doh) (doh) (doh)

 

No just very expensive commodities!

You're paying hundreds of thousands of pounds to bring these players in and then paying them thousands of pounds a week you need to make sure they're ok! </p>

If you weren't back at work they'd bin you off and get someone else to do the job for you! </p>
