5 players for me, provided we keep the existing players...

Left back: Must take priority over everything else.

    Centre Back: Nyatanga preferably.

Right Winger: Need competition for Devaney

Left Winger: Kyel only really performed this last few weeks. Needs looking at.

    Striker: Hopefully Rajczi.

Don't know for sure but I get the impression he's a bit of a cockney at heart and won't fancy a perm move up north.

Unless we get him on a season loan. I think he's done enough to earn a new deal here if he'll sign.

Wallwork looked class in his two games? Really?

    Wallwork??

You sure you went to those two games. He looked unfit, slow and off the pace to me. Lucky not to get sent off in his first game although I grant you he did get stuck in. Played a bit better in 2nd game but even at his peak could not be regarded as "class". I think people are getting a bit carried away with his contribution because we kept a clean sheet or maybe its just sympathy after the stabbing.

It depends what you mean by class.

He looked "Sunday league class" against Ipswich.

    Depends on whether

you wish to demean any post AR signings I would have said.

Played 12 games for WBA this season who were doing somewhat better than us.

Wallwark did OK for both games he played, shoring up our weak midfield. Was looking better in the 2nd game. I'm pretty sure he would have been a key player had he not got stabbed.

    RE: Depends on whether

Whats it got to do with Ritchie how I view the contribution that Wallwork made?

I could turn that around by saying you like to big up any post AR signings, when in reality hardly any of them have been an improvement.

I only can say as I see and Wallwork couldnt pass water against Ipswich and looked out of his depth.

As we like to talk about what ifs on this site , if Wallwork had been paired in the middle of the park with McCann I dread to think of the carnage the oppos would have wreaked as they strolled through our pedestrian midfield.

We might still get a chance to see them togther next season though , who knows!

    RE: Wallwork??

I think Wallwork did a good job for us when he was here, he dropped in just in front of the defence and took a lot of pressure off them with his tackling and his distribution.. He also got Davey his job, with the two wins in which he played. Top man Ron, get him signed for next season, irrespective what league we are in.
